On 21 December 2009, TIGER PD signed the “Madrid Agreement” which enables formal acceptance of the final Spanish HAP configuration. The Spanish HAP-E is based on the so-called “PBL002” baseline together with the weaponry capability of the French HAP Standard 1 (30 mm gun, 68 mm rockets and Air-to-Air Mistral missile). On 23 December 2009, the last and 6th HAPE tail-number “2020” was delivered. HAP2020 is the 1st Spanish HAP in the final HAPE configuration. The rest of the Spanish HAP fleet will be retrofitted to this configuration.
